As part of a State visit to Vanuatu, the ICAO Secretary General and APAC Regional Director visited the PASO office and spent time with the General Manager. The discussion was very informative and supportive for all parties with the discussion focusing on the importance of aviation safety, the unique challengers to the Pacific Region, and the ways that PASO aims to provide assistance to its Members. The General Manager would like to express his appreciation to the APAC Regional Director and the Director of Civil Aviation Authority of Vanuatu for facilitating this opportunity.
