Additional financing for the PASO Reform Project secured from the World Bank
PASO was notified on the 24th of May that its application for additional financing to the PASO reform Project was approved by the World Bank Board of Directors. Through the additional funding, project activities will continue to ensure that PASO is financially self-sufficient, putting in place a new organizational framework that aims to improve corporate governance with both a new Information Technology platform and communications strategy, all to be implemented and refined over the coming three years. Additionally, training and support will be funded to expand its cadre of inspectors available to oversee and deliver PASO services through its Pacific Inspector Development Program.
