PASO RECEIVES GRANT FUNDING FROM AUSTRALIA TO CONTINUE AVIATION SUPPORT FOR PACIFIC βοΈπ
π PORT VILA, 26 MARCH 2025 β The Pacific Aviation Safety Office (PASO) is proud to announce the signing of a significant Grant Funding Arrangement (GFA) with the Australian Government, represented by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).
Formalized during the 3rd Regional Aviation Ministers’ Meeting at the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat in Suva, Fiji, this agreement highlights a shared commitment to strengthening aviation safety across the Pacific.
This collaboration represents a vital investment, with DFAT committing financial support valued at AUD 1.1 million for 2025. This funding will enable PASO to carry out essential activities such as:

Β Β Β Β Β π οΈ Technical assistance tailored to the needs of its Member States
These initiatives aim to ensure safer skies and foster long-term sustainability in aviation safety regulation throughout the region.
